PB Choc Protein Cake-in-a-bowl

This is pretty much a good bulking recipe, you can add as much PB or choc on top, even extra banana & honey to make the calories go way up to meet your goals!

NOTE: To make the Chocolate and PB runny, I microwave it on high for 10 second intervals, trying to stir it in between the intervals. It takes patience, but it's the easiest and the cleanest way.

I also like to use guar gum when I put protein powder in my cake. Anyone who has experience baking with protein powder would know that using protein causes your end product to be far more dry than its non-protein using counterpart. The thing I love about Guar gum is that it absorbs a lot of water, making the cake moist, thus counteracting the protein powders drying effect.

Keep in mind, do not use whey isolate as it will make a watery goop, and definitely don't use casein protein when baking with protein powder. I use regular whey protein but keep in mind that with  microwave-baking , different protein powder brands can change the required cook time. My prescribed 3 minutes might be 2, or 5 minutes instead. And even different flavors from the same brand can do the same, changing the cooking times once again! If you don't wanna fiddle with cook times I have regular microwave-baked cake recipes, and in order to get some fast digesting protein in your meal you can blend yoghurt and protein powder together to make a sauce to drench your microwave cake in. I highly recommend this alternative!
