Chocolate Cereal Protein Cake-in-a-bowl





Cake, Cereal, and thick & sweet milk. What's not to love about this recipe!

I recommend using thick and crunchy cereal. It's the best when it all get soggy but you still have a thick bite with every spoonful.

For the Cake, I use coffee instead of water because I've been told it brings out the flavor of Chocolate and I swear by it. I use coffee for all my chocolate recipes and have never looked back.

RECIPE:

Chocolate Cake

  • 150ml Brewed Coffee
  • 1 Egg
  • 30g Cake mix
  • 10g Protein Powder of your choice
  • 1/4 tsp Guar Gum (optional)
  • Sweetener of your choice
  • Pinch of salt

Chocolate Cereal Milk

  • 100g Fat Free Yoghurt/Skim Milk
  • 10g Protein Powder of your choice

Toppings

  • 50g Cereal of your choice
  • 40g Banana or fruits of choice

METHOD:

  1. Mix all the Cake ingredients, I use a hand mixer.
  2. Microwave on High/700w for 45-60 seconds (Mine took 60).
  3. Separately, mix all the Milk ingredients, I use a hand mixer.
  4. Cover the cake with the Toppings
  5. Cover everything with the Cereal Milk
  6. Let everything soak up the Milk and get soggy.
  7. Enjoy!
