So I’ve come up with my own way! Which is to cook regular rice first, mix it with a protein shake, and then blend it. Using my method, you also only need to put it in the microwave once and it’s done!
RECIPE
Base
- 540g of cooked rice
- 400ml Almond milk/Water
- 30g Whey Protein Isolate Powder
- Sweetener of your choice
- Pinch of salt
Toppings
This is where your creativity shines.
A drizzle of some nut butter, a sprinkle of nuts or seeds, a dollop of Greek yogurt, fresh fruit/berries, shredded coconut, and spices like nutmeg or cinnamon can transform your COR into a tastebud adventure.
METHOD
In a microwavable mixing bowl, add your whey isolate, water, and cooked rice.
Blend until everything is mixed well. (1~2 min)
Microwave for 4 min at 500w until thick & creamy.
Stir the bowl to get the water and rice evenly incorporated.
Add your toppings! I used cinnamon, cocoa, banana & another pinch of salt. 🫰
